HoodVendor Return Policy

Returns are primarily managed by sellers, subject to the guidelines below and applicable laws.

1. Eligible Returns

A product may be eligible for return if:

  1. The item received is damaged or defective
  2. The wrong item was delivered
  3. The product significantly differs from its description
  4. The item was delivered incomplete

Eligibility is subject to the seller’s stated return policy and legal requirements.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Unless otherwise specified by the seller, the following items may not be returned:

  1. Items marked as non-returnable or final sale
  2. Digital products or downloadable content
  3. Perishable goods
  4. Personal or hygiene products (e.g. cosmetics, underwear)
  5. Items damaged due to misuse, alteration, or negligence

3. Return Timeframe

Buyers must initiate a return request within [7–14] days of receiving the product, unless a different timeframe is stated by the seller.

Requests made outside this period may be declined.

4. How to Initiate a Return

To request a return:

  1. Log in to your HoodVendor account
  2. Navigate to Orders and select the item
  3. Submit a return request with supporting details (photos or description)

The seller will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

5. Condition of Returned Items

Returned items must:

  1. Be unused and in original packaging (unless defective)
  2. Include all accessories, tags, and documentation
  3. Be returned in reasonable condition

Sellers may reject returns that do not meet these conditions.

6. Return Shipping

  1. Responsibility for return shipping costs is determined by the seller
  2. If the return is due to seller error or a defective item, the seller may cover shipping
  3. HoodVendor does not control courier or logistics fees

7. Inspection & Approval

Once returned, the seller may inspect the item before approving a refund or replacement.

Approval decisions must be fair, reasonable, and compliant with applicable laws.

8. HoodVendor’s Role

HoodVendor:

  1. Acts as a neutral intermediary, not the seller
  2. Does not take ownership of returned items
  3. May assist in dispute resolution where necessary
  4. Does not guarantee acceptance of returns unless required by law

9. Seller Obligations

Sellers must:

  1. Clearly state return conditions on product listings
  2. Process returns promptly and professionally
  3. Comply with consumer protection and product safety laws

Failure to comply may lead to account suspension or removal.

10. Policy Updates

HoodVendor reserves the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
