Cancellation Policy

HoodVendor Cancellation Policy

Order cancellations are subject to seller acceptance, order status, and applicable laws.

1. Buyer-Initiated Cancellations

Buyers may request to cancel an order under the following conditions:

  1. The order has not yet been processed or shipped by the seller
  2. The cancellation request is submitted within the timeframe specified by the seller

Once an order has been shipped or marked as completed, cancellation may no longer be possible, and the buyer may need to follow the Return Policy instead.

2. How to Cancel an Order

To request a cancellation:

  1. Log in to your HoodVendor account
  2. Go to Orders and select the relevant order
  3. Submit a cancellation request

The seller will review the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

3. Seller-Initiated Cancellations

Sellers may cancel an order if:

  1. The item is out of stock or unavailable
  2. Payment verification fails
  3. Delivery to the buyer’s location is not possible
  4. Fraud or policy violations are suspected

In such cases, the buyer will be notified, and any payments made will be refunded according to the Refund Policy.

4. Cancellation Fees

  1. HoodVendor does not charge buyers a cancellation fee
  2. Sellers may specify cancellation conditions where permitted by law
  3. Any applicable fees must be clearly disclosed before purchase

5. Refunds After Cancellation

  1. Approved cancellations result in a refund to the original payment method
  2. Refund processing times depend on the payment provider
  3. HoodVendor does not control bank or payment gateway delays

6. Late or Repeated Cancellations

HoodVendor reserves the right to:

  1. Restrict cancellation privileges for abuse or repeated misuse
  2. Take action against sellers with excessive cancellation rates

7. HoodVendor’s Role

HoodVendor:

  1. Acts as a facilitator, not the seller
  2. Does not guarantee cancellation approval
  3. May intervene to resolve disputes fairly where necessary

8. Policy Updates

HoodVendor may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
